Building bridges between brands and their next customers – one deliberately chosen word at a time.
About
01 – AboutAn American copywriter and narrative architect based in London.
Seasoned in creating bridges between brands and their next customers.
A narrative technician who ensures the bones of a brand's message are built different from the rest of the competition.
A translator who listens to the destination you want and imagines the communicative vehicles to take you there.
In short: I'm your guy.
Starting out as a screenwriter and filmmaker, storytelling across borders is embedded in how I think and collaborate.
I have extensive experience as a treatment writer to a range of directors and agencies – including the Ridley Scott Agency.
Pinpointing the essence and individuality of the speaker, and sourcing the most organic and potent narrative, is how I've won so many pitches.
Selected Work
02 – WorkDear Dad
Collaborated with Walmart to write the story structure for “Dear Dad,” their Father's Day ode to Black fatherhood. The film unfolds in three parts – Whole, New, and Life – illustrating a wholesome, fresh perspective of Black fatherhood.
The Art of the Gamew/ Jaylen Brown
Shaped a story grounded in quiet defiance and clarity of purpose. Jaylen Brown's path – from a middle school chess club to the NBA – became a reflection of what it means to move with intention, even when the room says you don't belong.
“Welcome to the Club”
Designed and wrote the narrative structure for “Chasing Change,” highlighting the community service of the Mustang Mafia, a community group based in the 7th Ward of New Orleans – including a story on the destruction of Tremé, a thriving Black neighborhood razed in the 1970s to make way for an extension of I-10.
Black Joy Collection
Collaborated with Converse to ideate the campaign concept and lead all copy for the Black Joy Collection, highlighting a new generation of Black creatives shaping today's cultural landscape.
Black History Month 2026
We wove the stories of three Black American entrepreneurs, all taking place in the same neighborhood – an exploration in lightness, and how community cultivates the creativity that births fresh opportunity and new careers.
Patti LaBelle
Had the pleasure of writing the scripts for Patti LaBelle as she breaks down three key aspects of financial planning for small businesses: scaling, digital transformation, and expense management.
Money Dreams
Collaborated with Cash App to write product copy, original poems, and a script for the Spring & Summer collection of their streetwear line, Cash by Cash App.
No More Dribble Dramas
1 in 3 men experience drips and dribbles. We used this insight and built No More Drips & Dribbles, a campaign built to inform men over the age of 40 about how commonplace incontinence is and empowered them to keep control with TENA Men.
